With everything going on around the world...you hear so many independant scrapbook stores closing down, mostly to bigger chains, but also without the support of their local customer support, and due to personal reasons, because it really does take a lot to run a business. {I have been in business for almost 3 years now, coming up this fall...it has been a crazy ride, and I am glad that I started it. I only wish I had more time for everything...I struggle to find balance with it all. Some days are better than others, but I wouldn't change it for anything.}
And big scrapbooking events are starting to come to an end...so I hear. I am thankful to have attended CKU-Provo, two years in a row when I did, it makes me sad to hear that this is possibly their last year?
And our great local event that my good friend Kim, has been putting together for so many years now...is at its final year this month! I will be teaching at this event, and will have a booth as well...this is your last chance to sign up for some fun and an exciting weekend! Visit Express the Moment for more details!
Everything is changing, but there is still time to be creative! So support your local scrapbook stores in your area... :)
Great post Alicia! I 100% dito this post!
