ETA: I had this post done on Tues. and annoyingly enough I had exited out of this window, instead of a different one, and it didn't even save everything, only part of what I had saved, so annoying what a waste of time...so just now getting back to it.
way to fast! Yet another week has gone by...I can't believe it. I don't really even remember what I did last week...oh wait it's slowly coming has I was reviewing pictures~Mother's Day was Sunday. {yes I am behind a week} My parents flew to Mexico on a short notice, I rushed to find flights on the internet while they were at work, so they flew out on Sat. May 10th and came back home just last Saturday. So anyway we didn't go to my parents house since they were gone. We went to eat at Sizzler, {I think it's been at least 4 years since I've been there~WHAT!? seeing how I love shrimp!} So of course I had steak and all you can eat shrimp, and believe me I can eat a lot...and not just shrimp, Levi says I'm a pig~meaning I eat more than him, which is A LOT. Why I am talking about eating...I don't know. Anyway so we had dinner at Sizzler, then went over to Barnes & Noble, or Books & Barnes as my dad calls it. lol. Only for half an hour, because it was Sunday so they close early...Levi takes Gulianna to Barnes & Noble a lot, she lOvEs it, ever since she was little. Good because we go there a lot! She's always so good, such a happy little Roo Bug.
She was trying to be a little squiggle worm in her stroller. After Barnes & Noble we headed over to the falls, I wanted to feed the ducks, but I forgot the bread! Someone was nice enough to give us a piece of bread so that we could feed the ducks. I got bit a couple of times, Gulianna was cracking up, she thought it was so funny! She was waving her hand for the birds to "come here", so funny! She had so much fun, I lOvE watching her get so excited!
{okay I haven't posted for a while and typepad made some changes while I've been gone still trying to get used to them...}
Gulianna has this new thing where I sit her in her car seat, unbuckled {GASP} and then she stubbornly turns her little body around and then pulls herself up, until she's standing in it. Then she gets this proud little s**** smirk on her face cuz she can look around and out the window...what a little monkey. She gets brave and holds on with one hand, like a little schmuck! Here's some pictures of her in action... of course I wasn't driving {what kind of mother do you think I am, haha}
Monday we went to RJ's band concert, we had to pick him up, since my parents were out of town. He plays the saxophone in the sixth grade band. They did pretty good...I think Ms. Young was so much better than the teacher they have now, I swear we were like 50 times better than them, in my opinion... Oh the pranks we would play on Ms. Young...
I can't quite remember what I did in the middle of the week...but Friday was my birthday! So...
We went to dinner at Johnny Carinos with Daniel & Claudia, Nancy & Ty and kids. Of course I have the usual at every place I go, so there is always the Spicy Shrimp & Chicken. Gulianna ate so much bread, she was starving...and cheesecake too, she lOvEs CHEESECAKE! Levi was going to be going out of town for the weekend, so he didn't have anything planned until later...always trying to coordinate with family is fun, but he always does great.
I think the last couple of years he threw "surprise" birthday parties for me. I think when I turned 24?! he blindfolded me and took me to a restaurant where everyone was waiting...which I thought was funny, because I came home from work not feeling all that great, and I was tired so I had just changed into my pajamas, and he was freaking out saying why, are you changing? I said why, we're NOT going anywhere?! {even though I knew he was planning something...lol} So we got there kind of late, because I had to get ready...again. Anyway, on the way there {I was blindfolded} and of course I was memorizing where he was driving, I kept saying "now you're turning left on 5th Street, etc..." He got the idea that I was smarter than he thought, so then he had to drive clear out of town, make a couple more turns, and then back, just so I wouldn't know where we were headed. So funny! So then we were really late...
I had a good birthday day, other than I had to work...just another year older it seems like now, I woke up and had to remember exactly how old I was even turning!

I feel like I have been so busy with everything lately, no time to clean, to scrapbook, to do anything that I want to, yet we get home late every night, and I can't go to bed unless I watch the news {as lame as it might be} and Ellen! So I'll start off with last Monday, was Cinco De Mayo, I wanted to eat Mexican food so we went to Puerto Vallarta in Idaho Falls with Daniel and Claudia. I was really hungry, chips and salsa were good, food was okay, I ordered carne asada tacos, I personally think the taco bus makes them way better. Gulianna loVes beans and chips and salsa! Here she is posing for the camera...
Before we got there, I was trying to get through to z103 to win a free oil change, but you can't get through the freakin' line. I swear I was the only one that knew the answer to their question "Why does Mexico actually celebrate Cinco De Mayo" there were soo many people calling in saying "its the day of the dead, I swear" ???? Come on people quit being retarded...I was just mad cuz I couldn't get through. Tuesday night, Lana and Aros came over to have dinner, Levi's awesome Tortilla Soup, he makes it better than any restaurant, it's not even worth ordering anywhere once you've had Levi's! We watched American Idol of course, and then I trimmed Emry's hair. Once again, another late night, we probably went to bed around midnight.
So when I woke up on Wednesday morning, I remembered just in time that RJ had Festival in St. Anthony. So we rushed to get ready, Levi drove separately to work in St. Anthony, {I wanted to ride together...} I had to get gas in the car, feed Gulianna on the way there {don't even ask how} and try to make it on time to see RJ play in the band.
Of course they had to start road construction all the way to Rexburg, so there was only one lane, and we had to go about 50 the whole way, just my luck. After finally finding the Jr High, I didn't know it was by the high school, {and no I couldn't just call, my cell phone won't let me call out, Gulianna has been playing with my phone too much, yes I should know better...} I realize that Gulianna pulled off her socks and that they were probably at the store, I also left her blanket there because I was in a hurry. So I was trying to get her jacket on, it was super windy, like always. I get her out of her car seat, I had both doors open, I put the camera, baby food, and car keys in the diaper bag, left the front door open, grabbed Gulianna, and what do you know, the wind blows the front door shut. I had just locked the car before I put the keys in the diaper bag. So I run around all 4 doors just to make sure they were all locked, of course they were, WHY wouldn't they be!?
So by the time I get into the school RJ's class just got finished with their last song...My dad was waiting in the hall for me, he went to see if he could pry open the windows, but he couldn't. {I used to be an expert at that, this is NOT the first time my keys have been locked in the car.} So I called Levi, he had to go back to Rigby to find the other set of keys and come back to St. Anthony to unlock the car.
We then went to the park and brought pizza so that we could hang out with RJ, before they took him back to school. Afterwards I left to go back to Rigby and with all the construction going on=cops everywhere. So what do you know, there's a cop behind me, and of course I have to get pulled over. I got a ticket for no registration, and can you believe I didn't even have my plate stickers on from last year...what a day. Then Gulianna started walking...
Just kidding, but she will be soon...I am still in shock how big she looks!
Friday night we scrapbooked all night and into the morning we were actually at Scrapalicious till 5am on Saturday if you can believe that! Lana and Nancy came over, but then they had to leave, Claudia, Lorinda and I stayed till the wee hours in the morning!
Saturday afternoon we went to see Horton Hears a Who in Rexburg, mmmm Gulianna lOvEs popcorn & m&m's! Then we came home to do some laundry...I actually did it, Levi has been doing it for the past 7 months, yeah he helps out a lot, he's always been good like that!

Last year in March, Levi bought this 2007 Kawasaki "Limited Edition" Mean Streak Vulcan 1600 cc. He is so proud of it. He rode it a lot last year to and from work in IF, and took a couple of road bike trips with the guys, one to Moab. Remember the movie Wild Hogs? Yeah that's Levi and his brothers on bikes, they can definitely relate! Lol... I haven't really taken pictures of his bike, I was too busy working at Corner Drug, while he was gone, last year. These pictures were taken a couple weeks ago on Saturday, at the Grand Opening of Scrapalicious. {Where is Daniel, I thought I took some pictures of him, I guess he was behind me getting his gear on} Now if the weather would clear up and actually be warm he could be riding it more...

Anthony just called...I have gotten oh maybe 4 calls from him now that he has been in Iraq. He calls my cell, and I have the number that he calls from programmed...it's always funny to see "Anthony in Iraq" calling, when it rings. He says they moved to a different location again, they have been there for about a day. He was on a night watch, watching the military vehicles, been up since 7am, shift over at 2am, and starting over again at 4am. Crazy, crazy. The time difference is 9 hours, so it was 1:00am there. I told him that Midnight just had kittens, again, and he said that they found kittens shoved in between the engine in one of the humvees. I always ask him if he wants me to send him any snickers to stop the hunger, haha-he always says he's fine. Here are some pictures that he sent back in November when he was in Twenty Nine Palms. He is lucky to be alive after all his mishaps during helicopter training in Yuma. We pray everyday that he will be okay and that returns safe.

Last month when I had checked Katie's blog...I noticed pictures of her little Cora with Katelynn and Emma, and I thought what are they here?! So we left to go see them at Aunt Claudia's house! {Angela I am still kicking myself for thinking that you lived back east...I don't even know where I got that from!} Little Katelynn is so cute and petite she has such cute features! We need to get together more often Camille!

I put Gulianna in the red chair and put it next to the window, and she was standing up and leaning over to the window looking outside, then she started laughing, so I walked over and looked out myself...Oreo was tossing a dead mouse around in the air. {more like a headless mouse} Then Oreo would come right to the window and stand up looking in at Gulianna! {pictures taken 4/18/08}
