This was our second load in moving to Utah...our food storage...which was a beast, super super heavy...and then all our stuff from our apartment next to my mom's house. We only moved the things that we needed...{this was back in September}
- food storage
- kitchen stuff, dining table
- bedroom furniture: our bed, and the crib.
- living room furniture: coffee table, sofa, my red chair, & bookcase {all that we could really fit}
- clothes and personal stuff
- some of my home decor to decorate
I wish I would have taken pictures before we moved everything out, but it all happened so fast! I guess everything was still in boxes anyway, so picture boxes stacked up...lol!
This is actually Rene's apartment that he and my dad built last year...it just needs tile work finished, cabinets, and carpet. He was going to live in it, but then decided to take a break and go to Mexico to live with our family...and that was earlier this year in May...and he still hasn't came back!
It would have been perfect for us for the fall and winter...but as soon as we moved our stuff up there, then Levi was traveling to Utah for work...like, the day after we moved out of the brick house in Rigby. And I was still running my scrapbooking store in Rigby. Our plan was to carpool together out to Rigby, while Levi did his chimney business...which was also his busy season, and then go home together...but that didn't happen. I was planning on closing Scrapalicious down for all of December and January so that I wouldn't have to drive back and forth in the winter, and plus the highway gets closed down all the time too. I was going to reopen the store in Feb/March...and by the springtime, we were going to move back out to Rigby.
But that didn't happen! Levi would work in Utah for days, sometimes even a week or longer, and with me driving my Bronco that only gets 10 mpg... I didn't want to work for nothing...basically all that I earned would go to gas. So me and the girls would stay in Rexburg at Aros & Lana's, while Levi was in Utah working. And then if he came home on the weekend, then we would go home to our apartment.
With us going back and forth...we were living out of suitcases...and never officially moved in to the apartment.
It was a long couple of months...we moved out of our home in July, celebrated our 8th anniversary, Levi's 32nd birthday, hurried and settled into the 'brick house' {the house that we were renting}, celebrated Gulianna's 2nd birthday. Moved out of the brick house, and up to Tetonia. And now we are in Utah!
In between that...after Gulianna's birthday, found out that Heidi Swapp was coming to teach! Then we found out we were moving! Trying to move and plan for an event, while going back and forth and living out of suitcases....ahhh! That was fun!
I can't even believe we did all of that in less than 6 months! And here we are starting another year, and Isabella will be ONE, in just 2 short weeks!!
