I got brave enough to make cookies once again...I tried a new recipe, and didn't care for the taste so much. They tasted too flour-y.

For several days, I could not keep Gulianna out of the baking drawer...as soon as I would leave the room, she was off...she wasted a lot of cupcake liners.
She filled them with "Cocoa Cuff's" ...she used to say puff's but somewhere along the way she changed it to "cuff's"...????
At least she didn't open up the sprinkles!

this is one of my favorite outfits on Gulianna, and she still fits into it! She still fits into most of her clothes...and she's even squeezed into Isabella's 6-12 month jeans!

We went to the South Towne Expo for the Festival Trees! Amazing! I love seeing all the different trees, there is so much talent. I took too many pictures...here are just a couple of my favorites!

Ahhhhh...I love Christmas trees so much! Makes me want to keep them up all year...well I guess I kind of do, only one, and I decorate it for each holiday!
We've been taking our Christmas trees down one by one...now it's time for Valentine's! I love Holidays!

I love these pictures...we dumped out the Christmas decorations for our colorful tree...and Gulianna is wearing green panties and she matches the decorations by her, and Isabella is wearing pink, and she matches the ones closest to her! Not even planned!
I just noticed that Gulianna is wearing not one, but two sets of panties, lol!

Last night, and I was somewhat proud ... until I found out I screwed it up. This was my first time cooking chicken by myself, ever... if you can believe that. Remember...I don't cook. By the way this is the best chicken EVER! It is almost my favorite thing to eat!
Nancy walked me through this recipe a couple years ago, and it seemed somewhat easy enough that I could do it on my own...so I started with pounding the chicken, with an ice cream scoop, we don't have one of those meat pounder thingies, lol. We didn't have any big ziploc bags so I put it in a grocery bag. I actually started out with wax paper, but then I didn't want to splash any chicken stuff all over the place and contaminate the counters. I kind of got carried away... and the chicken started to fall apart. {hey it was my first time} I did rinse it first, I know that much. Then I started to spread the cream cheese onto it, but it wasn't sticking as well...then I rolled it up. By this time, we were starving, so I couldn't wait to just bake it already. I placed all the chicken in the pan. Then went back to the recipe card. It said a 'greased pan'... so I take the chicken back out, spray it, then placed it back in. Then I was noticing that I didn't cut off some of the fat. There wasn't much...but yeah, I should have done that first. I placed the bacon over the chicken and stuck it in the oven.
I set the timer for 30 minutes...even though the recipe said 35-40 minutes. At 30 minutes I checked the chicken, meaning I opened up the oven and looked at it...called Levi to come check on it, but he was busy working on the computer, so I thought it wasn't cooked, so I set the timer for another 10 minutes. Then I looked at it again...hmmm, doesn't look like it's cooked all the way, so I set it for another 10 minutes...then I was tired of the timer going off so I just turned it off! See I have no patience. In between times I kept calling Levi, but he was too busy. So I think I ended up baking it for an hour, and that is when I figured, it should be done by now... usually when Levi makes it, there is the juice drippings all around the chicken, mine were all black and fried. Levi finally came into the kitchen and said it was 'way done'...well maybe it would have been perfect if he would have checked it the first time! The recipe also says 'or when the juices run clear'... whatever that is supposed to mean. Because the juices never looked 'clear' to me.

While we were waiting for the chicken, I rinsed off the grapes, and we ate those. I'm pretty sure I got ripped off, this little bunch was $6.00. Shouldn't grapes be like two or three bucks? I don't know, I'm not the one that goes grocery shopping, seemed expensive to me.
I keep saying 'we' because Gulianna was my helper. And she also kept touching the raw chicken, like 5 times, so I kept making her wash her hands after each time she 'poked at it.' Plus she also had to taste the a piece of raw chicken and then spit it out, and she did that to the uncooked bacon. I would expect that from Isa but not her...she was probably hungry too :) So Gulianna and I made some crescent rolls.
I think the one on the middle right looks like one of those cornucopia things...and the one right in the middle is the perfect one, *I ate that one*, and we made 2 little baby ones for her and Isa.
They turned out...
I made some instant mashed potatoes...and then we were good to go. After my first bite into the chicken, I was mad pissed because I wanted it to be perfect. The chicken was overcooked, and the cream cheese was kind of dry. That is when Levi said...'you did slice some butter on the cream cheese' and I instantly said 'crap, I didn't use the butter!' I was thinking it was going on the top or something, but I didn't even get it out of the fridge. I said 'it DID NOT say to put butter on the cream cheese' and Levi laughed and said, 'yes, if you would have read the recipe.' So I ran and got the recipe, to prove him that it didn't...damn, he was right. I never even read that line. I swear it said spread the cream cheese and roll the chicken. I was hungry, remember?
Then I was thinking, the bacon isn't even crispy. Actually I said it out loud, and Levi said, 'did you broil it for 5 minutes?' Well of course NOT, remember, I didn't finish reading the recipe. Ahhhhh! I don't have patience for this! Next time I will remember to put the butter and bake it only for 35-40 minutes, and broil the bacon.
I would say I did an okay job, plus we had crappy leftovers. They would have been great, had I followed the recipe. Next time, it should turn out great :)

this was the house that we rented for just a mere month and a half, we called it 'the Brick House'...and had to sing the annoying song over and over too...'it's a BRICK house!'
I guess I don't have my own picture of the outside of the house...so I took this off the blog that they had for this house...you can see it HERE. {and turn up your speakers...lol}
We had to rent a storage unit for everything that we couldn't fit, this was major downsizing...plus the garage was full, and 2 full storage sheds in the backyard.
We had a lot of yard sales last summer, selling a lot of good stuff, sometimes it's hard to part with your 'stuff'...

It would have been nice if the the owners continued the red paint on the other side of the kitchen...maybe they thought it was too much? I thought it was too much white!
I'm so glad that our table is adjustable, it fit perfect here...
This was before we painted... it looked like a neutral tan with the previous owners stuff...but then we moved in and it was so pink, I couldn't stand it! We painted it right away...
Here is where we made this house a home...my favorite part! Can you see the difference! Ahhh...so much better!
This was the dreaded door that Gulianna always escaped out of every second she could. It was the front door, and had one of those push and turn locks...hello people! We were going to replace it, but moved out too soon! I hated it because this house was right on the street, luckily she never went onto it...but we found her over at the neighbors house stealing their little stroller or playing on their play horse...they didn't seem to mind, but I did, since they smoked outside all the time...and had cars coming in and out of their drive way all the time. I was going to put a piece of cardstock to cover the glass, and print WELCOME on it, but I never got around to it...
We did have this bookcase blocking the doorway to the kitchen for a while, we kind of liked it there, but then it made the kitchen feel claustrophobic because it was so small, so we moved it back to the side. {these pictures were from when we were moving, so the bookcase is messy}
We had four chairs set at the table, but Levi was already loading things up...so there are only 2 :)

It was already painted this color...I wished I would have grabbed the name off the paint can, I like it!
We had taken out this little white cabinet that was in the corner, it did not make any sense...and put in this old hutch. It's actually Cherrie's, we have been storing it for her :)
There was only two very small bedrooms in this house, and I have looked through all my pictures, and I must not have taken a picture of them! I guess I didn't want to remember! Just picture our bedroom barely big enough to fit our queen sleigh bed in, there was just enough room to walk on the right side of it, and on the left side we had set up the crib, and our white hutch with the tv on top so we could watch movies at night. The closets were super small, and I had to only hang what we could wear, everything else stayed in boxes and bags.
The office/slash temporary scrapbooking, which I never unpacked, slash closet jam.packed with the girls clothes. It was full of boxes, with a small walkway to the computer!
There was no carpet in this house, it was all original wood floors. I like carpet! Poor Isabella was always dirty...and I swept and mopped often!
This house did have a nice lawn and a huge backyard...it just wasn't fenced in by the garage...

The last 2 nights we slept on the floor with blow up mattresses...the queen one has a whole in it, so by morning, we were practically on the floor, even after putting air into it several times throughout the night!

I had packed all of Gulianna's shoes in one box, but then she got into it, and when we were just about done loading up everything...this is what was left...ONE of each shoe...they got reunited with their pairs, months later!
Wow this was a long post! We have a lot of memories at the 'Brick House' in the short amount of time that we were there! It was not our plan to move so quickly, but I guess I had the house decorated so cute, that it sold so fast :)

I can't believe she is actually going to be ONE in a couple of days! Isabella is going to have a cupcake birthday party!
I really tried several attempts to make her invitations after Christmas, and my computer was just not working! There was absolutely no memory to do anything...but we got that taken care of, finally, and it works great!
I took pictures of Isabella this afternoon...and this was the best one out of about 30 pictures! She kept taking her headband off...and then trying to pull it back on...so I would put it on her head, and then hurry sit back and snap a picture, over and over! She's wearing her cupcake dress that Grandma bought for her! Gulianna has a matching one, and kept asking to wear hers, but we were only taking quick pictures!
ahhhhhhh...and I just noticed that I printed 2009 instead of 2010 on her invite! And we just got home from Costco...hmmmmmm....oh well I guess!

It is already January 13th! And I still don't have a calendar! I think I do this every year! I buy the same calendar every year too...

I love the colors in it...mainly because it matched our first home in Driggs. I am pretty sure I based the colors of my walls off this calendar.
And I love her artwork. Fun. Colorful. And Simple.
I kick myself every time, because they usually have it at Robert's, but everytime I go in, I am usually using my coupon for something else. So I put it off...and every year I get mad, mostly because I hate paying full price for anything. One year I bought the calendar at the Mini Bazaar, and then I think 2 years in a row, I bought it on ebay.
I keep thinking I will be lucky and find it somewhere for half off, but then I keep forgetting to check when I go out! So wish me luck and hopefully I will have one before January is up?

Last night we were at Target, just me and Gulianna...and we were looking at Valentine stuff and things for Isabella's party, and I found some candy necklaces, and I said "Gulianna, we can get these for Isabella's birthday party!"
and she said "Mom, I will share with Isa! SHARING!"
lol...yeah right, she just wants the necklaces, and she doesn't know that they are candy! Last week we took her to the Dollar Store, to spend the dollar that Grandma gave her. For a couple months now, I've been saying if you don't pee at night then you can go to the Dollar Store and pick out whatever you want! She's been really excited, and hasn't peed in her diaper for about a month now...I tell her "I'm proud of you" and she says "MOM! I proud 'a you!" she sounds funny when she says it!
Anyway, she picked out a little Mickey Mouse figurine, and she loves it! She kept the back card of the package, she calls it her "picture"...and sometimes when she misplaces it, she says "mom, where's my picture?" There is a picture of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy on the back of it, and she constantly says "where's Pluto?" Apparently they left him out.
She also says "mom, Pluto's in trouble" a lot, because when we watched the Mickey Christmas show, Pluto was in trouble because he knocked down the Christmas tree and all the decorations!
I lost track of what I was saying! My point was that she wants to collect the others but I said that she needs to share, and stop hitting Isabella. She's constantly taking things away from Isabella, and pushing her down for no reason. So that is why she got all excited and said "Mom! I will share with Isa!" lol!

Levi just sold 2 full boxes of his precious childhood comic books that he collected...and held onto for so long! He now says a part of his childhood is lost! And I forgot to take pictures, oops, I may have a few that I took sometime ago...?
It's not like they've been in boxes for how many years! He hung onto them...to maybe make some money later on...but everything has decreased in value, they aren't really worth too much, maybe a few of them, but then again it takes a while to find the right buyer who is interested!

we dropped off my dying computer last night, to Levi's uncle who is a computer genius...to update it, and clear off my space, and most importantly, get all my pictures backed up! I hope to get it back Monday...
I need to make Isabella's birthday invitations...she will be ONE on Saturday!!!
{and yes I have procrastinated once again...I blame it on my computer, it hasn't cooperated with me at all}
My parents are coming down again! They were here just last weekend for a quick visit! So nice to have them here! We shopped and shopped! Annareigh got an awesome chandelier for her room!
And I bought a GIANT pear! No really it is big! I don't know how I missed it...I've only been to TaiPan like four times in the past couple weeks! It was calling my name! And when we ran into Levi again...I turned my back from my cart for one second, he grabbed my giant pear and ran... he says it's hideous, but secretly I know he loves it as much as I do! ha ha! He said 'you DO NOT need another pear!' Oh yes, I DO!
Oh, and Annareigh I made you a cool fabric banner for your room too...you'll have to wait till you get here to see it!
I can't post any pictures until I get my computer back...I'm on Levi's and I am 'prohibited from downloading ANYTHING'...lol!
We ate at IN-N-OUT *again* last night! And then went to Gloria's new shop in Provo for some cupcakes! Oh how we've missed them! So excited that you are down here too, and just in time for Isabella's birthday!
I keep saying that I am going to unpack my scrapbooking stuff, but then I get overwhelmed by all the boxes, plus the garage is freezing and the boxes are heavy...excuses excuses! okay I'm off!

I can't seem to get the external hard drive that I just got last week, to work! ahhhhhh! And actually the day that Levi brought it home, my computer wouldn't even turn on, it was the blank blue screen of death!! I was so mad, we finally get one, and my computer finally decides to crash...
Well it did eventually come back to life, but it is really going to die soon. All I want is to get my pictures taken care of. But it won't let me do anything...there isn't enough memory space do allow anything else. I have deleted old pictures that were already burned to a cd, I have removed and uninstalled unused programs...and still can't get it to work. I think we have to get our computer fixed first, and hopefully soon!
So in the meantime, I am going to get my scrapbooking stuff unpacked so that I can scrapbook!
