for this carseat! We didn't even switch Gulianna out of it until she was 17 months old! We could have done it a couple months earlier, her legs got a bit long :)
I wish I would have bought the exact same carseat that we bought for Gulianna, when I saw it on Craigslist last year...but I procrastinated.

Anyone watching American Idol out there...it's my favorite show! And this year is even better, because now Ellen is a judge! I love Ellen! And we don't have to hear Paula and her 'dropped cell phone' comments...if you know what I mean :)

And the girls just aren't that great this year...why couldn't they have let Angela Martin go through??? hello...after 3 times, and this was her last year to audition! She is better than most of the girls on there. So glad that Ellen & Kara are giving her another shot!
Same with Shelby...in my opinion. She was good!

we stayed home, and didn't go to church. Levi, and both Gulianna and Isabella have been sick since a couple days before Valentine's...and I've only been slightly sick, until this morning. It has been a long week of sucking snot with a nose syringe from their little noses, can you really suck out someone's brain, because it sure seems like it! Poor girls. Now they both have bad coughs. Gulianna coughed all night. Off and on I would give her a cough drop. Then I remembered the 'spoonful of honey' remedy...I asked Levi if we had any honey, and he thought I was calling him honey...yeah, he was still sleeping. So I went downstairs to see if we had any, and we had a big container of honey that was rock hard. Must have gotten frozen from all the moves we had. So she continued to cough, and then finally fell asleep.
I woke up sick. Now I feel like crap. Isabella breathed and coughed on me all night. Levi made breakfast for us, although we didn't have any more potatoes, so he made fried okra...nasty. yes I tried it. He went to the store last night, why didn't he just buy more potatoes if he knew we were out? To torture me with fried okra :)
The girls watched cartoons...Mickey Mouse 'Cubhouse', Gulianna doesn't say her 'L's only on certain words. I watched a couple recorded shows, then fell asleep. I never take naps. I hate naps. They are not for me. And when I do...they just make me grouchy. Everytime. I just feel like sleeping is for night time, and there is always something that I could be doing. For me it's a waste of time. And yes, I get mad if Levi takes a nap, because he could be doing something other than sleeping. It doesn't happen very often though.
So I wake up grouchy and then hear that the girls are upstairs having a free for all in my scrapbooking stuff. I just have boxes, and boxes sitting upstairs in a room, and in the open room as well. I was planning on setting it up, but then I stopped because, I would just have to pack it up in a couple months. And when I scrapbook, I make a huge mess. Plus I still have a garage full of scrapbooking stuff...mostly all the store, but my personal stuff is mixed with in...that's another thing. Even if I were to scrapbook, I couldn't unless it was all out. Every bit of it. Even if I'm not going to use it all...I have to have options and choices. I've always been that way.
Reminds me of when we used to get together and scrapbook, or go to a crop at a store, and we would be the ones bringing our whole rooms because we didn't want to leave anything behind. And then we would scrapbook one page, if we were lucky. I miss those days.
So after Levi got them out of my stuff...I closed the door in what was going to be my scrapbooking room, and started going through the misc. bags of things. Then I found a container that had some catalogs from the scrapbooking companies I would order from. I looked through some. Some were really old. Like 2005. But I remember all the product. I loved ordering and picking the cutest stuff. I threw them away. Then I came to a pile of old, and I mean really old unfinished scrapbook pages. It was the stack that I have gone through over and over...and I still can't seem to finish them. Some are still cute, and then some are so cheesy, I want to throw away, but I won't. I will finish them.
Then the next section of stuff was magazine cutouts. I haven't done this for a long time!
I used to subscribe to just about all the scrapbook magazines...{now I don't even have a single subscription!}and then after a year or so, I would go through them and cut out my favorite layouts and articles, and then I gluestick them onto plain white cardstock, and organize them into categories. This was a huge stack that never got into the binder. So I went through it...and minimized it to about half. I loved looking back at all the old layouts that I liked so much, some of them were too old so I through out but then some were still old and I still liked them! And I saved some of my favorite advertisements, like Making Memories and Heidi Swapp. Just brings back so many memories of product, what was in, what music I was listening to and who's house we were scrapbooking at.
I liked looking through all the articles of Heidi that I saved...all her older scrapbook pages...not a whole lot of product, but always new techniques, and the focus is always on her pictures and the memories, and being creative and true to her style. I love her and her work, she is very genuine and just fun to be around.
I can't wait till I have gone through all of our misc. stuff that just got shoved in boxes and bags. And when I can set up everything again in my own scrapbook room. We thought that we were going to move to Moroni...yes very far away, but the home sold...and so we are still looking. Hopefully something will come up soon!

i made this fabric banner for my sister...the first week in January, my first creative project for the year!

she just recently painted her room a pretty tiffany blue, wish i could see it already, send me a picture! when my family was down here after New Year's, my mom bought a pretty chandelier for her room, lucky you Annareigh!
now i want one for my scrapbook room...i almost bought a vintage lime green one, but i didn't want to pay $160.00 for it.
i love these colors together!
i had fun making it, until Gulianna and Isabella unraveled all my tulle. and i cut my hand with the rotary cutter. i didn't have a cutting mat for this project, so i started cutting on a cardboard box, that wasn't working too well, so i used the back of a cork bulletin board. yes the back of it is now sliced up, but no one will notice :)
i was going to make one for me...and then hang it up for winter decor after Christmas, and dangle some silver sparkly snowflakes from it, but i didn't, i'll save that for next year.

i backed the paper onto chipboard, and i was going to use my tiny attacher...but i couldn't find it, so I sewed them onto twine, and then tied tulle and strips of fabric, since Gulianna took my valentine fabric garland apart! i added some turquoise, pink, & white tulle...
i need some matching decorations now ;)
switched out my Christmas stuff on my shelf...still no family picture in that frame! why is that so hard to do :)

And I never buy cheetos...Isabella was trying to fit as many as she could in her mouth! Gulianna loved them too, I think the last time she had some cheetos was when we were camping a couple years ago! Maybe I will give into messy cheesy cheeto faces every now and then :)

it's been spring weather here! i ♥ it! now that Levi works from home, he spends day and night on the computer, so when he has a little bit of free time, we leave the house...and go somewhere! Anywhere! Out to eat, to the mall, to Tai Pan, Walmart...Target...new stores and fun little boutiques! We will miss the convenience of being so close to everything. We are getting ready to move soon, maybe next month if the home we are looking at will work out, and it is in the middle of nowwhere. Which I don't mind living somewhere secluded...but I would rather be out in the middle of nowwhere in Idaho, not Utah, despite the long winters and cold weather!

Today Gulianna got all of my Raggedy Ann & Andy ornaments and lined them up underneath the hutch! All the girls on the left, facing the same way, and all the boys on the right facing the same way again!
she likes things in a certain order!
{and we finally found these...I always decorate a Raggedy Ann tree for Christmas...and they weren't with my Christmas stuff, I thought they were lost, but they were with the Valentine's decorations, which makes sense now, since I leave it up for Valentine's Day too!}

We went to the movies to see the Princess & the Frog!
I packed these Valentine m&m's for our movie treats, and a pink and red bowl for Gulianna & Isabella's popcorn, it is better if they have their own!
Gulianna constantly talks about going to the movies and eating popcorn and 2 m&m candy treats and sprite! She talks in a certain voice and has the cutest expressions every time!

Levi is always talking about sushi, and how much he loves it...and although I haven't ever tried it...I know I don't like it! So last Friday we went to eat lunch at Tepanyaki. And he made me try it. And what do you know, I didn't like it. I wasn't a fan of the seaweed wrap, it drowned out the taste of what was in the middle. He said there are other wraps...blah...I don't like it. I did still eat it, just picked out the middles :) And since I didn't like it, it wasn't filling. I did have teriyaki chicken and rice. He says he usually goes to a different place, where the sushi rolls are much bigger...but he wanted to try that place. I wasn't impressed...
We were going to look at a couple houses afterwards, but then they couldn't keep their appointments...so we took State St. and drove, and drove...the girls were asleep. And then we ended up at the Provo mall...without a stroller, I hate not having a stroller. I told Levi to rent one...but they only had single ones and he didn't want to pay five whole dollars for it! lol! So he carried Isabella everywhere...I have done that before with Gulianna, and being pregnant with Isabella, and I was not going to do it again!
Our first stop...Levi gave Gulianna the experience of those candy machines...and the ones with the little toys and such in them! I have walked past those so many times, because I don't want her to beg each time we see one! She got a neon orange friendship bracelet, and a little sticker and a koala bear that looks like Toli on Ni Hao Kai Lan, she loves it! Although it is lost now... You know how they come in a little plastic bubble? Well...I told Levi to get her a bouncy ball, but he didn't want to, and she heard me, so now she calls the plastic bubbles 'her bouncy ball' and then Isa had to put it in her mouth and bite it...so she says that "Isa broke her bouncy ball" lol, so funny!
Next stop... riding the little rides!
Isabella is so funny! She had to stand up the whole time the car was moving, and then she had to go and stick her leg out too! What a funny girl!
And these are my pictures for 28 days of pink + red too: 2 girls in pink & red outfits in a pink ice cream truck! I wanted to take some cute pictures of them at home...but we left in a hurry and then got back late!
Gulianna's face in this picture is so funny! I don't remember why she was doing that though!
And we couldn't pass up Hot Dog on a Stick! My favorite! And they have the best lemonade!
and since I am sharing my favorite things that I love: this is my favorite ever...the little crusty end of the corn dog...when I was little I used to pay my brothers Rene & Anthony for their corn dog sticks! lol...now that's funny!
and Levi had to get an Orange Julius...{Isabella's cute little finger}
and of course Isa hogged it all...
and we let her, because technically she's been jipped for six months! We went to Jamba Juice a few weeks ago...and I decided to get Isa her own little Jamba. {until then she wouldn't use a straw, I should have known better, if you want to have your kids use a straw, give them a Jamba and they will learn real quick!}
Well she took one sip, and then made the funniest face ever, like "holy shit...you guys have screwed me over this whole time!" and then she took another gulp...and wouldn't stop sucking! I think that moment she had flashbacks of all the times we went to Jamba Juice and she didn't get any! Awww...I really feel bad for her! I have given her some sips of mine everytime, but she is such a messy eater, that I never wanted to give her one for herself! I was looking back at pictures...and Gulianna was only 6 months old, and drinking her own Jamba! I went back and found this post of Gulianna and her Jamba.
Poor Isa, we really did screw her over! But Isabella and Gulianna are so different, but the same. Gulianna would eat anything...I now remember that she would eat her own grilled cheese sandwiches from Arctic Circle, two if she was really hungry, and a whole crisp bean burrito by herself! She was perfect at doing 'dip its' with her fries, almost never made a mess! And she was 10 months old!
Isabella is almost 13 months now...and I am still nursing her! I hope to be done next week! She is a picky eater sometimes...if she doesn't like it, well then she doesn't like it. I still give her whatever we are eating, but then if she doesn't eat a lot, I give her baby food and yogurt. Plus she is constantly swatting her hands and waving her arms in the air, and then yogurt or baby food goes flying every where. She is difficult, that is why we don't like to feed her! And maybe she doesn't have that many teeth? I don't know...I can't remember if Gulianna had more or not. Isabella hasn't started to walk yet, although she knows how! She did stand up by herself on her birthday! Gulianna was walking a week after her first birthday, so it seems weird for her to still be crawling, and walking around things. I know, all kids are different! But we still love her the same, she is so cute!

One day we were out shopping, just shortly after she got these, and she tripped on the sidewalk and scuffed her shoe, I was going to mod.podge it, so that it wouldn't spread, but apparently I still haven't got to it!

Last year we made so many of these I lost count! I ♥ them...because you can make them yourself, and they are one of a kind, no one will have the same one as you! The color combos are endless, Cherry and I would call each other back and forth coming up with different schemes, and then we would dream about them! I love the perfect mix of beads!
I still haven't picked up another pink watch face...a couple days after I bought this one, Isabella dropped it on the tile, and it shattered! It's been dropped many times, it's so scratched! My girls go crazy over these bracelets, Isabella has even thrown some serious fits, when I don't let her hold them!
And if you do own one or two or three, you need to be cautious while driving, they can almost cause you to get in a wreck...because they are so beautiful, you end up staring at your bracelet on your wrist instead of DRIVING! lol! We've had some close calls!

I ♥ spaghetti! In the past, if we didn't happen to go out for Valentine's Day...we always have spaghetti for dinner, along with a salad + Chiz' ranch {which I'm really missing right now}, garlic bread {from Broulim's, my favorite} and sparkling cider! The perfect dinner!

I am lOviNg my black & pink make.up bag! I lOvE that it has polka.dots too! My favorite ever!
We were suprised with the best package ever all the way from Japan...from a good friend! We were loaded up with everything Hello Kitty! I claimed this cute little bag! And I was in need of a make up bag, since one of the girls lost it...I think they threw it out of the stroller, the day we went to visit Santa at the mall! It is not fun to have to replace your make.up all at once...and very expensive! All my brushes...my brand new eyeliner & mascara...I did have my mineral make.up at home, along with my broken bronzer & bits and pieces of blush...
Any way...something PINK for day 1 :)

I loVE February...mostly because there are only 28 days, even though it's still only 2-3 days shorter than a full month, technically it's a 2 week month, which goes by so fast. And one month closer to summer :)
This month always seems to fly by, I guess as most days and months do anymore. I wanted to do something fun, since last year I missed out on all the fun holidays...I was super sick all winter long. {I bet I had the worst case of the swine flu, but I'll never know, because I didn't go to the doctor, okay I did go in one time, but that was after the worst of it}
I love Valentine's...mostly because of all the chocolate, Valentines, and fun stuff, people being happy and spreading the love for one day, really it should be like that everyday. I would say roses & flowers and such but I'm not big on flowers, they die anyway because I forget to water them. But I do love Gerber Daisies! I remember when I was little, and I got to pick out which Valentine's I wanted to give out, and I would carefully read each one to make sure I signed it and gave it to the appropriate person...I didn't want to send out any wrong messages, lol!
And I love pink & red! So I will be sharing something for every day of the month of February, all things pink + red! I don't even really know what I'll be sharing, just going with each day!

Translation: She wants to know why the short music video clip of Selena Gomez' 'Naturally' isn't on anymore...she thinks she says "action me" but really it's "naturally."
