I have been wanting to do this forever...but Levi finally helped me start this project last night. We are going through a lot of our stuff again.
We have all of our 'main' stuff out...and settled into our house. But there is still a lot of misc. boxes of stuff. Because when you move so fast, towards the end, you just start chucking things in boxes and bags. And I want everything organized!
We had a lot of yard sales last summer, and with every move, we have gone through are stuff and gotten rid of a lot of unwanted items. But now we are really going to go through stuff again!
And I'm talking about that crap that you just can't seem to throw away...or donate. So far we have one white garbage bag full of stuff.
We went through some of our high school memories stuff, like art journals, a dumb binder of letters-why didn't I throw that away before!
These masks that we made in Mrs. Woolley's art class...
so I took a picture of them...and threw them away! ...gasp! I went through one art journal...I know I have more, and tore out only 2 drawings that were worth keeping. I will put them in a scrapbook album.
I had a bag of clothes...that somehow never made it to the DI, and I was trying to peek through to see if maybe I wanted some of the clothes again...and then just when I was about to open it,
Levi said "don't, we are taking it to the DI!"
I said "but their are some jeans and pants that I could take to a store, and get cash, or trade on them!"
"no, I will just give you $20.00"
"well then pay up sucka!"
This is why it is it is best to go through things together :) No, but really...sometimes you just have to tell each other to "get rid of it"
There were some things that I don't know why we didn't get rid of before? And there are some things that we have to hang onto...like a whole box of binders of paperwork from Teton County Sheriff's Office {Wy} in case a lawsuit comes back at Levi. Dumb criminals.
I found a box full of hair stuff, like perm rods, foils, and developer...we went through some of our stuff from our Peru trip, and Brasil, and Mexico...and I know I have a ton of prints that I was going to frame from Europe, where are those?
I found a long lost cd of our family pictures that we took in 2004? I've been searching everywhere for that!
We are going through more stuff today!
