i'm really struggling to find places to put things. This house has absolutely NO STORAGE space! It has 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms = our bedroom, the girls' bedroom, and my scrapbook room. Levi gets to plant his office downstairs in the unfinished basement. The laundry room is in a closet in the hallway...which is fine, but that is the only closet in the house other than the bedrooms {which have teeny closets} and the small coat closet by the garage door. Don't get me started on the kitchen...let's say the biggest cupboard is under the sink!?! pathetic!
It is worth it to pay a couple hundred dollars more a month to have more room! Yet...this was the only house that was available at the time, when we needed to move out. Sooo frustrating, and we had to sign a one year lease. I am now wanting this year too pass by fast, how sad is that! Don't get me wrong, I am thankful to even have a place to live, I guess I just need to vent a bit. It would help too, if I didn't have my store inventory and displays to deal with.
We finally got the living room furniture set up today...after Levi contemplating and complaining that this house has the worst layout ever! He replaced the kitchen faucet, because...well I ended up finishing it off, you had to slam it a certain way to shut it off, and I couldn't take it anymore, so ugh, it broke :)
I've been unpacking and trying to set up my scrapbook room all evening...trying to make things fit and work. Definitely not what I'm used too. I think it would be fine if the room had a normal size closet. Trying to figure out some sort of desk...I don't have anywhere to store my paper. I may have to save for the desk that I would like at Hobby Lobby! And that is only if they would give it to me for half off...there is a crack on the top, no big deal to me...but it has paper storage and drawers, which is what I am needing right now. (and I am going to get rid of even more stuff that I don't want anymore, can you believe that!)
I can't wait till everything is unpacked and put in place. And then we can start painting, yup that will make me feel so much better!
