i just opened a box of mini albums that i have created in the past...and we just hung our rustic metal easel thing in the hallway, so now i get to display some of my albums again. thinking about how many times we have hung this easel in all the homes that we lived in. brings back so many memories!
i always think of our first home in Driggs. i sure miss it! although, i have to say i miss our home and property outside of Rigby more, and the plans that we had for it...i want to move back!
i can't wait till we settle down and are able to own our own home again. this is the first time we have ever 'rented' a home together...{besides renting the house from my parents next door} and i can't tell you how much we hate it! wanting to change everything, and make it your own, but not wanting to invest money, because it's someone elses rental. it just drives us crazy.
but our family is what makes a house a home, and that is what's most important!
too bad we didn't get to enjoy the basement...we finished it just before moving out :( it would have been nice to have more rooms!
