should be better than yesterday! we didn't even take a shower or get ready, i started to clean, then i actually watched a couple of recorded shows, isabella actually took a nap...i let the girls watch 'mickey cubhouse' all day, then while i was sewing they dumped half a box of cocoa pebbles all over the living room, i should have known by all the screaming and dancing and running around, but i just stayed in my scrapbooking room!
i started a baby blanket, ran out of fabric! i was trying to make it out of 4 fat quarters...now i'm wishing the pattern went the other way, or maybe i should have bought some yardage instead. and it's a girly blanket, we are sure hoping we are having a girl?! going to Material Girls and Hobby Lobby for some more fabric. i think i am going to get this baby blanket quilted first before my bronco blanket...because my money has to go to my camera, it jumped off the kitchen table last friday...i think the devil pushed it off. very irritated and sick about it. but i hope to get it back tomorrow?
we've been busy this summer, but not by playing outside...it's too hot for the girls, especially since we have no trees in the backyard...so much for playing in a fenced backyard! we have to wait till at least after 7, but more like 8pm to go outside and play. we go swimming at least once a week, the girls love it! we go grocery shopping with Levi, usually he just goes, but Smith's has the cool little car in front of the carts that the girls love to ride in! this last time though, Gulianna pushed one of the little mini carts, she loved that! we've gone to jamba juice, {not enough though!} and the girls love to go to the South Towne Mall to ride on the carousel, isa likes to ride the zebra, and Gulianna likes 'the horse with the flowers on it's butt!' lol! i usually like to go a couple hours before the mall closes, because then i buy Mrs. Field's mini chocolate chip cookies for half off...and i buy them out! mmmm! but we haven't done that lately! i remember when they used to be $1.75 for a dozen...we've driven the bronco a couple times, the girls want to drive it every day, but i just can't when it's 100 degrees, even with the bikini top on, it's not fun to drive like a blow dryer is constantly on you, i'm sayin' it's HOT! in Idaho, it would be okay! we did that last week, when Levi had to take the Durango, and i about died of heat exhaustion!
really wish i just would have gotten an ultrasound, because now we can't make our trip to Idaho like we had planned, because i don't know when i'm going to have this baby! soon though, i hope, i am ready...i am super uncomfortable, i can't lay down, i can't sleep, i can't sit on the sofa for very long, i was never this uncomfortable before! going to get out the baby clothes today, and see what i'm missing! going to Carter's to get some newborn onsies, and a boy set just in case!
i've been missing cold Idaho summer nights...nothing better than going outside to cool/freeze off! i think of that every night when i open the front door, and it's still 80...90 degrees and i just shut the door and get mad. i will wake up in the middle of the night, just to turn down the air conditioner even more, and then i will step outside to see if it cooled off, nope still HOT! when we used to live in California, i used to put my sheets in the freezer for about 30 minutes and then go sleep with them! sometimes i would be too tired to wait for them to get cold, and would fall asleep, my mom would always wonder why there were sheets in the freezer...i think i finally told her it was me a couple years ago, lol! i also miss cold tap water. especially for brushing my teeth...i can't tell you how much i can't stand luke warm water, hello it's on cold it should come out COLD! and i love it when it's ice cold! Levi says i'm crazy!
anyway...off to clean the house and vacuum up some cocoa pebbles!
