The Simple Life

Done...

 
This was the last of my Christmas decorations for the very top of the tree...

and they are up now!

Being the short person I am, and not wanting to get the ladder out, I simply waited for Levi to finish the top of the tree. He did it this morning.

The lights on the very top of the tree aren't working! I guess that's what happens to pre lit trees.

Anyway, just strung some more lights and we're good to go.

Except for the star. It's not wanting to stay up there...

I wanted to add some big white stars, but Tai Pan didn't have anymore...they had some last month. But of course I waited a year too long. I actually bought some last year, the day after Christmas, but then I returned them...and bought some thing else. Because they were just going to go in storage, until NOW...

I am...

28 years old, and yes I just cooked eggs for the first time. Ever.

 
Thanksgiving morning...while Levi was gone, I decided to just finally try. I mean what could go wrong? If they didn't turn out, just throw them away, lol!

But they did turn out! And I made them again this morning, while Levi was home...he was quite shocked himself! Ha ha I can make eggs now :)

Yes, I am sure this may sound ridiculously pathetic to you right now, but if you know me, I don't cook. Really.

Happy Thanksgiving...

 
For us will be another year of Thanksgiving with no family...Levi's working again. Just us at home. We had planned to go to my parents for Thanksgiving this year, but with all the snow that Idaho just got, and bad roads, and us not having snow tires yet...we are staying home. Levi will be working all day, so for us is just another day at home. I remember last year, he brought our last trailer load of stuff from Idaho on Thanksgiving morning, then went out to Walmart to go buy groceries to make Thanksgiving dinner for us, of course they were out of turkeys, so we had a rotisserie chicken instead :)

I am so thankful for everything that I do have. Especially my family!

 

And...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Annareigh! My little sister was born on Thanksgiving night, seventeen years ago!

before "the storm"...

We all knew "the storm" was coming...so I figured it was my last day to hurry and snap some pictures while it was still Fall! We had just got back from Tai Pan... while we had the Durango for an hour, we had to get out of the house! Levi hasn't been doing computer work for over a month now, so he's out doing jobs, which leaves us home. I do have my Bronco, but now that winter is almost here, it's too cold to drive it with the soft top on, my hard top is still in Firth, parked in the shop.

My .25¢ scarecrows I bought, like 6 years ago...and the first time ever using them! Gulianna loved them, and she always has to count them in spanish :)
 

And then a couple hours later..."the storm" hit! Of course it wasn't what we are used to in Idaho, but apparently down here, people freak out... 

I know, hardly any snow, compared to what Idaho just got!
 
 
 
 

 

Busy...

Who would have thought that I would have 3 kids so fast? I love them! Lately Levi likes to ask what I do...and then he remembers to NOT ask that question...

I wake up, nurse the baby.

Sometimes the girls are up too, and other days they are still sleeping.

We eat breakfast, usually cereal or oatmeal.

I go back to nurse Anthony.

Then get up to clean up, and get the dishes done.

Nursing again.

Gulianna and Isa are watching tv, or playing with their babies.

Isa poops. So I change her diaper.

Anthony poops. Change his diaper.

Nurse the baby, because he just pooped and his stomach is empty again.

Then it's time for lunch and everyone is hungry again!

Isa poops.

Baby poops.

Hungry kids.

Little Anthony is sleeping right now...and I thought I would take a minute to upload some pictures...and Isa comes in because she just pooped...gee, that's grrreat...

I know I always say I will post pictures of stuff and then I never do! {Gulianna's birthday, projects, Anthony, Halloween...} Good for everyone else that can stay on top of posting pictures in order and on time, because I can't seem too!

Today! I am trying!

 

I HATE MICE!!!! I just jumped out of my seat as I looked out of the corner of my eye! It was tiny and it ran into my scrapbook closet...where did it come from!!? I'm assuming the 'laundry closet' since it is right in the hallway, but now I'm grossed out...and I don't want to walk on the floor. I know and it's just a little mouse, but they gross me out. Now I wish I had cleaned my room yesterday!!! Ugh...so disgusting...

I have a hammer on the floor, what are the chances of me killing it, if I throw the hammer at its little body? But then I would have dead mouse guts all over... ahhhh! Definitely not sleeping tonight.

Good thing Levi is still out working, so he is bringing some mouse traps home...now I have to stay here to make sure this little sucker doesn't run anywhere else!!!

My brother Anthony, and little Anthony Levi sitting on the sofa this morning! My brother is on his way home just for a couple days, my mom will be so suprised, she doesn't know :)

 
 
We are excited to have Anthony home...he will be out of the Marine's in 3 weeks! He served both in Iraq and Afghanistan, the past couple years, and has been through a LOT, so thankful for him to be home. Also thankful for his service as well as my uncle who was also in the Marine's and my Grandpa who served in the Navy, and to EVERYONE that has served our country, past present and future! Happy Veteran's Day!

I forgot I had these from last year...this was in September, right before he left for Afghanistan, Gulianna just turned two the month before! She looks so small, Isa is now wearing those shoes today for the first time!

This is the only room in the house that hasn't been top priority...I've been neglecting it, and I clean the house every day, why can't I just focus on my scrapbook room! I come in here to check my email and  blogs and such...and then walk right back out.

How did it even get like this? lol! Yeahhh...about that, it's my cREaTiVe mEsS!

Starts today! 21 days...here I go!

 

my frame...

just finished putting this frame together, and I love it!

 
I finally put this frame to use, it was scratched up in the corners from moving...so I added some aquamarine paint...and this print  from House of 3. I uploaded the print to Persnickety Prints last night and Levi picked it up for me this morning! This was my first time trying them, I love the finish on the photo! The only thing is that I had to trim it to fit the frame, so the top and bottom is a little cut off. That is going to bug me, so I will resize it and print it again...but maybe later lol!

6 weeks old...

Levi has been saying lately..."sometimes I think he looks like me, and it's starting to freak me out!"

And speaking of counting "weeks"...Levi and I argue about this all the time, if you want to get technical, Anthony turned 6 weeks old on October 9th, and 8 weeks old or 2 months old on October 23, even though he was born on August 28th, right? Levi says he's not 2 months old until the Oct. 28th. But I am right...look at the calendar.

Idaho trip...

This was on our way to Idaho, the first time, when Anthony was two weeks old!    

 
 
We stayed at Aros and Lana's house for 4 days, while Levi worked, and then on the weekend we went to my parents house, then Levi went back to Rexburg while we stayed all week.

Before we went to my mom's we got lucky as we passed Porter Park, the carousel was still open! Actually that was the last Saturday they were open, we were probably their last ride for the season too :)

When we pulled up, Gulianna immediately began saying, "mom, remember I go swimming at the spray park with RJ!" She used to say "fwimming at the fray park" lol!

Levi said that it was "my turn" to ride with them on the carousel, we don't seem to ride well on rides anymore, we get dizzy now that we are older, now that's funny!

 
Deciding which horse to ride! At the South Towne Mall, Gulianna always rides "the horse with flowers on it's butt" and Isa rides the zebra :)

 
 
and of course Anthony was too little to ride this time, but soon enough he will!

 
We ate at the new Bambino's in Rexburg...Levi and I were both excited, because in Rigby they have apple beer, so we assumed they did to, without even glancing over to the fountain drinks. We both ordered a large drink, and then when I went to fill up my cup I was mad because they didn't have any! I always drink water, unless there is apple beer! Any way we both thought it was pretty funny!

 
After a late lunch, we headed to Grandma & Grandpa's house! Gulianna and Isa played outside and colored with chalk, they loved it! Chelsey and Annareigh helped too...

 

 
and RJ watched from the window, since he broke his foot...

 
 
 
The next morning the girls wanted to play with the chalk again, I think Gulianna dreamed about it all night!

 
 
 
 
 
Then the next day we went to a birthday party at Leo's Place, Gulianna and Isa had fun with Annareigh on the slide. The last time we were there with Gulianna she was too scared!

 
 
 
 
 
While we were gone, Anthony turned one month old!

 
 
 
 
 
 
My mom also had a party for Anthony, we got a lot more clothes and blankets for him! And we had some good food too!
