The weather has been really nice all week, compared to a lot of rain last week. Plus all 3 kids were sick, so I just stayed here at Cherrie's house while Levi worked and worked.
But this week we were able to go to the house every day and work on something. Of course Levi and I caught their sickness, I'm fine during the day and then get really sick at night, ugh!
But we are back in business with nice fall weather, it was 80 degrees today!
We picked up our carpet on Wednesday, got the kitchen cabinets out of the storage unit on Thursday, figured out where they would fit, and then I sanded them down. Friday they got primed, and yesterday Levi painted them and got them back on the walls minus the cupboard fronts that I still need to sand, stain, and seal. We don't have a corner cupboard so it looks a bit off but its better than what we have before, lots more cupboards!
Today Levi is finishing up the carpet, he's been working on the pad in between other projects. Then we can set up the living room and bedrooms. And start digging out boxes to actually find what I need! It's so disorganized because they couldn't just unload our boxes into the house, so they went everywhere from the garage to the chicken coop storage, to several storage units. Oh well. If I was actually there to unload it would have been different.
Like I said before we still have the kitchen and bathroom to work on. Kitchen needs countertops, oven, microwave, sink and tile. Bathroom needs everything. we will just use the toilet and sink for now. The rest is just disgusting. We can sleep there, and shower and eat at Cherrie's until its finished!
The girls have been playing with their new neighbor friends Ollie and Ava, they have a trampoline and a swing. And then they come over and play at our house too. Anthony just loves to crawl all over and play in the dirt, he's fine where ever!
