halloween 2014

for this years halloween costumes: gulianna was merida from brave, isabella was anna from frozen, anthony was an astronaut, and jeremy was olaf! 

trunk or treat on main street in front of our church and we stopped at a few houses on the way home.

 

halloween decor...

i'm expecting preschool trick or treaters any minute...AND my house is clean, so i took some photos of my halloween decor...same as every year, but i sure love it!

once in a while it's just me and anthony for some quite time. doesn't happen very often, but we'll take it when we can...so we took a selfie to document, and i showered too! ha ha!

jump...

for our young men and women activity we went zip lining! and since a few months ago, my girls have been begging for us to go, so i had to bring them along...they were super excited and wanted to be first, but i made them wait.

and it is definitely fall around here...love all the leaves on the ground.

isabella went first, no question... since she's so little i had to lift her up, so that we could hook her onto the zip line and then she turned to me and said..."mom i can't do this!" and not a second later she just jumped OFF! after ward i asked her if she was scared and she said NO! 

gulianna was next...and she couldn't wait! until she climbed all those stairs. and then she had second thoughts for a moment. and then she jumped too!

we ended the beautiful fall evening around the campfire and roasted marshmellos and had smores. (well NOT me...i don't like smores!)

work work...

boxes for days! thankful for all these orderes we've been blessed with. and these little rascals to help me carry boxes to the post office!

sadly right after we were done dropping these off anthony and isabella were racing back to the durango, and anthony tripped over his foot, and did a flip in the air and skid his face right on the sidewalk. poor kid. this is the 4th time he's gotten hurt in 2 days. 

sunday happenings...

it's sunday again! how does this happen?! we had a super busy week with prepping for the craft fair this past weekend, plus orders, and life and a wedding. my house turned into a disaster zone again. so right after church i busted my butt for 3.5 hours and cleaned it as fast as i could. levi went to work right after church) and i got done just in time to miss my ride for our stake meeting. i had to wait for levi to get home any way. i made chocolate peanut butter smoothies but left it in the blender so that he could pour them out. the kids actually waited patiently as they drooled at the blender i'm sure! i passed him on main street and went off to my meeting. so glad that the house is back to normal again. need to get my scrapbook room cleaned and organized next!

my new norwex cleaning cloth came just in time too, i threw out my old one last week. (

outdoors up the canyon...

we live in such a beautiful valley with amazing canyons just minutes from home! every fall we have dinner around the campfire up maple canyon. this year i tried to plan to go up the beginning of september but that didn't work out, and then we were busy every day it seemed like. so we made it happen and went. 

we love the outdoors! and our kids love to explore! and rock climb... we had a great evening and the best tin foil dinner ever, thanks to levi :)

 

little stinker...

this kid is almost more than i can handle right now!! a few days ago he had most of the shampoo and conditioner emptied out all over the bathroom. and my hair serum. and now the lotion. he was singing "washy washy WASHY!" so proud of his little self washing his hands, with LOTION!

stuck in a bucket...

so a funny story for tonight... i was on my computer going through emails and looking on pinterest, and for about ten minutes straight i kept getting after anthony to go and brush his teeth for the night. and he wouldn't listen. and i wasn't really listening to him because when i finally started to actually hear him (pinterest must have made me tune out everything! ha!) he was singing this made up song to his own tune "i can't brush my teeth because i'm stuck in the treat bucket!" over and over! so i looked underneath my table and sure enough he WAS actually stuck in his treat bucket for preschool!!! it was hilarious! better get off pinterest and tend to my kids. and i actually haven't been on pinterest in ages.

mondays and monkey bars...

monday's are for early out days, ballet, and playing at the park until it snows.

gulianna loves to put together her own outfits and get ready for school. if only we could be on time! her hands are very calloused from playing on the monkey bars at school and when we go to the park, i told her i used to do the same when i was in school!

since i had been working so hard, and crammed to clean the house, (see the previous post!) we went out to dinner, no sense in messing up a spotless kitchen!! took a few selfies, while we waited for dad to run into the hardware store, "i'll be just a min..." 45 minutes later! heard that one before.

my photo to save my ocd brain... pat if you ever come across this, remember that one time you stopped in to finally see us, and my house was a complete disgusting disaster?? well i hauled butt and cleaned up as much as i could, i even mopped, see the floor is still wet...and you didn't swing back!!!

now i wish i would have taken the putrid before shot, for my memory!

here's proof that i had just shipped out 100+ orders just 30 minutes before you showed up. i was too busy to even it, but levi so lovingly made me a sandwich, thanks babe.

 

carrots...

i love garden fresh carrots from the garden! i had the kids pull out the last of them before the ground freezes...possibly tonight.

brothers...

after being hyper for 2 straight hours...they finally passed out. 

i do not like bed time. 

and telling my kids to go to sleep, every 5 minutes!

end of soccer...

we survived another season of soccer...isabella is such a character to watch, she's more aggressive than gulianna when she plays but then her class clown act kicks in and she's a goof ball out on the field!
