last minute getaway...

after being home for thanksgiving...we felt like we needed to get out! thought about st george but then realized it was unrealistic, so we went to salt lake instead! i got orders out, came home from the post office and packed within 40 minutes and we were out! checked into our hotel, went to costco and filled up with gas under $2 a gallon, YES! jeremy and amy met us at the front runner station and we were off to salt lake. it only took a year for us to finally ride. everytime we go up, i forget that they don't run on sunday's. we checked out the new church history museum, went to city creek, with hopes of leaving our kids to shop for a minute ;) ya right! and best of all the lights. it was freezing! but yay for TRADITIONS! i love when cousins can get together, we need them back here! we made it back on the train with all 12 kids and big strollers, be proud, no one was left behind. we tried, ha ha! a few lost gloves and scarves along the way, but got lucky and found them all. a quick stop at hobby lobby, for levi, i stayed in the parking lot, i had 10 min in ross and got lucky and found a coat. we had a late dinner at red robin and went back home. short, but definetly packed in a lot of fun and chaos. they don't call it hustle and bustle for nothing!

these rust colored orange shorts from the gap were my favorite! i bought them for anthony, and they lasted up until now for jeremy. he has completely worn them out. he is so hard on everything! i will miss both of them wearing these ♥

hello friends!

i know it's been ages. trying to get on a schedule? i hate schedules! ok more like i'm trying to be accountable for workouts. and i like crossing things off! so i made this simple free workout schedule printable for me AND i saved the file for YOU! of course i had to use my old school heidi swapp brushes, love her ♥ and her handwriting. seriously best handwriting ever!

as you can see last week didn't get a single workout in, we had too many young women activities, on top of the kids extra stuff and i had my stuff in a local boutique too.

every sunday jeremy has a blast running up and downstairs all over in and out every door, we were ready to leave him!

pricing and inventory is not my favorite thing to do! i also ran out of labels on my price gun. but when set up is done, the final product is worth it all! 

these two are pretty good helpers. after i took a photo of both of them, isabella says "ok now just a picture of me!" 

another show down. now i can just focus on online sales and the holiday season, thanksgiving is coming up!

after school project...

because sometimes you have to stop everything to make a project with isa! gulianna went to play at a friend's house, and isabella was feeling left out, so we went home and made an art journal together. turned out pretty cute, i will definitely be making some for my shop.

 

civilization saturday outing...

we ventured out to civilization today! 

and about 2 feet of green leaves all over the excursion and the ground. the last of the green! 

we weren't planning on going so we left later... actually i was trying to plan on going by myself! ha! but it's hard to leave my family behind ;)

and this is what HANGRY looks like! 

we got lucky and got to catch the tail end of georgia's last volleyball game! we miss you georgia!

gulianna had her first ballet practice with partners tonight, so i had to sneak a few pictures through the window! and of course, one of isabella trying to hold in her laughter because gulianna was dancing with a boy!

afternoon walk around town...crying, fighting and whining included. but still lots of exploring and playing too!

this is what we call the "magical forest!" look around lot's of imagination and creations to be found here. i envision it with an old rustic sign "welcome to the magical forest" and strings of lights from all the trees ♥

isabella had to climb out through the weeds, so she was stuck with cockleburrs all over.
