I planned to take the Bronco to Provo but there was lots of rain clouds, and we didn't want to get rained on...so we left it home. And of course it sprinkled a couple drops the whole time!
Then we drove it to the park at Thanksgiving Point for the fireworks, and sure enough we pull into the parking lot and it started raining! So I took a few photos while Levi hurried to put the soft top on.
My fourth of July bows for my Bronco...love them! Again...I've been wanting to do this for years...
Yes...Isa was pouting once again...can't you tell!?
I really wanted at least one picture of all 3 of my kids looking at the camera, but this one will do...Isa was just pouting non stop!
Fun times with our little family in my Bronco!

We went to the parade, but missed most of it, because of our sleepy kids...since we go to bed late, they sleep in! Trying to find parking is crazy with all of the people, so that wasted our time too. Maybe I should have had Levi drop us off, but then I didn't have my phone, so I guess it was a good idea we didn't do that. We were also going to go camping Saturday night some where in Spring City...but that didn't work out either. We did drive down there with Kevin and looked at more property.
This is Anthony's first Fourth of July!
After the parade we went to have lunch, we couldn't decide...and so Levi picked the Golden Corral. Maybe we should have gone to McDonalds or something...Levi got real sick, that sucked. And 4 days later, he is starting to feel better.
After that we went to the car show at the mall, Gulianna was in love with the aqua car, that's her favorite color!
Isa pouting...she was a stinker and needed a nap, BAD! Isa look at me! "No I don't WANT TO!"
Me and my little rascals...

I took my kids to the little mini carnival that they had for Freedom Days in Provo...I got lucky with a parking spot right across the street!
The only rides that the girls were able to go on were the inflatables...the bouncy house and the slide, that was a bit too steep! I sent Gulianna and Isa on the slide and then Isa couldn't quite climb up it. Kids were starting to back pile because she was in the way, so I quickly jumped in and helped them both up and then I sent Isa down the slide first, then Gulianna, she flipped at the end, and then I went...scraped some skin off my arm and put my back out a little! Then they wanted to go again...we were done!
Gulianna was dying for some cotton candy! We got 2 huge ones for $5.00...compared to the other booths that had one for $5 or $6 :)
Anthony kept grabbing the cotton candy, he found it interesting! I gave him some, and he kept getting excited for more! I wish I could have taken a picture, but it was hard to keep my kids close and then snap a photo with sticky fingers...

Getting ready for the Fourth of July...
I love to decorate for the holidays! But more importantly, I love this country that we live in, the freedoms that we do have. {Yes I was born here...} I've always had issues with people thinking that I was born else where, {Mexico, India, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Iraq...just to name a few}and they ask when did I move here, and how did I learn English...uh hello! I was born in Rexburg, Idaho! So don't even give me your crap... I've heard it all, and then some. :)
there was more...too hard not to walk by and grab some chocolate!
This year, I finally made bows for my Bronco...I've been wanting to do this for years...with the red star fabric!
And I did a close up of the music paper...I didn't even plan it, seriously! Got lucky as I ripped out a random sheet that had "fireworks" right on it!
Anthony's first Fourth of July! 10 months old...
The girls are excited to go to the carnival tonight!! Have a happy fourth and a safe weekend!

i've been feeling real sick the last couple of days...i had 'morning sickness' lol! not from being pregnant but from staying up way too late in the 'morning' ha ha get it? thursday night i was up till 2 am, and last night till almost 4 am! so thankful that i actually don't get sick...because if that is what it feels like, ugh! i was seriously feeling like i was going to throw up!
anyway...this is what i have been working on! and i'm proud to say that i completly finished a project in 2 nights! we should celebrate! lol!
i used the 4th of July Kit from House of 3, and with a bit of scraplifting from Heidi on her book here. The book is 6x9, and i bound it with my lovely bind it all!
i used the elements from the kit and made the pages, then printed them on white bazzill cardstock. all the polka.dot papers are from the birthday background kit! and the red is from scenic route, from my paper stash. i also used some papers from the french oo la la kit too.
then i just used star embellishments and ribbon from my stuff! gather a bit of everything that works with the book so that you don't have to get up and search for it every 5 minutes! i used to do that and would waste so much time :) i used mostly heidi swapp & making memories embellishments.
here is the front cover! i also used my favorite distress inks! a must have in scrapbooking! 'Fired Brick and Broken China' matches perfectly!
and this is what my table looked like this morning...the aftermath of a finished project :)
and here are the inside pages! 16 in all!
for the back cover i just mixed 2 different colors of red paint to match...and then used the 4th of july banner from hof3 and one of heidi's brushes! just wish my handwriting was like hers :)
seriously so fun! this is why i scrapbook, to be C R E A T I V E !! and i actually cleaned up my table! first time ever! i am so ready for my next project :)
for more close.ups of my pages you can view them HERE in my mini book album:)

I have always loved the 4th of July. Family.Food.Festivities.Fun. We have always gone to the parades ever since I was little. I used to do baton twirling in the fourth of July parades when I was younger, and lived in California. We would always go to my grandma's house or go to the park for bbq's and picnics. And watch the fireworks in Redlands. So fun, I always miss not having my grandma around for everything. It is hard for me, and my family as well, not to have her here {physically} with us. We sure miss her ♥ !
This year...we started out with the fireworks at Rigby Lake on Friday night. We had plans to camp, but didn't reserve our spot in time. But then again I was sick from camping last weekend at Lava Hot Springs, so I don't think that I would have camped anyways. Then we went to the Rexburg parade on Saturday morning, the weather was much cooler than years before, but I wasn't complaining!
Isabella concentrating closely on the parade...{I didn't have time to pin her sleeves up, I did get my safety pins out, only to have Gulianna scatter them all over the carpet, tonight}
RJ, Gulianna, and my mom...
Gulianna was being a stinker for just about every picture I took...{here she is turning her head away}
After the parade, we had a picnic/bbq at the park...lounged around. Took Gulianna to the spray park, and she was being a stinker, she really needed a nap. RJ took her on the carousel a couple of times...
{and then she was happy}
I didn't take Isabella on for a ride this time...she waited patiently for Gulianna.
Afterwards...we headed to Idaho Falls for the fireworks. We stopped at Target to buy Gulianna some shoes, they finally had the ones I've been wanting for her-back in stock. Bought her some shorts, and then Isabella a cute outfit, and my mom bought another one for her too, because she had to poop in her jeans...figures.
{she just wanted more clothes...}
This was our spot that Levi picked out for this year...normally we our on the greenbelt, but we didn't want to fight traffic this year, maybe next year for sure :)
And we were home by 11pm...only 25 minutes after the show! Perfect!
A couple family pictures...{very hard to get everyone to cooperate} especially...Gulianna!
and now she's happy...
me and Isabella...
and if this isn't an exact Levi look...with her arm propped up and everything!
Chelsey and Gulianna {with her schmuck of a face, and her new ball that Chelsey bought for her, and she's still a stinker!}

Levi and Ty went to secure our spot with the tent trailer, Tuesday...maybe Wednesday, I can't remember, but by then it was already packed! We luckily got the perfect camping spot, better than the weekend before! Again Ty and Nancy and kids came camping with us, we always have a blast!
Gulianna and I headed over to the lake Thursday after work, and it was so flippin' hot! We waited for Aros and Lana to show up and then headed over to the main event to see what they had to eat, again no one was motivated to start the campfire or grill to make something to eat, for it was just too hot.
Levi packed Gulianna in the Baby Bjorn, only this time he carried her on his back, I don't think that it was really meant for riding on your back, but I guess she looked pretty safe...she liked looking at everyone behind her, or I guess in front of her! Dinner was popcorn shrimp and fries and a corndog from the vendors by the lake. The band was starting to play, when we got there. We spotted a pink Mary Kay Cadillac, the new consultant at the MK booth said that she would take the money, if she ever got to that level...
They had a giant flag hoisted in the air, and awesome fireworks that night, yup on the third of July! We sat right on the lakeshore and enjoyed them. Gulianna lOvEd it, she kept blinking after every one it was great! About half way through she fell asleep...she was so tired!
Then next morning we woke up and went home to shower and get ready, and then headed for the 4th of July parade in Rexburg. We had the perfect spot in the shade! Gulianna had fun waving her little flag and waving to all the people in the parade! The kids got a ton of candy...Malachi sure enjoyed running out and picking up candy!
